"THE TRUTH IS...

The Revolutionary War of Mesopotamia

Every Jew in every country in this world has a Covenant legacy they cannot deny. And they have a responsibility to that legacy they cannot escape.

Every born-again, Spirit-filled, Christian Gentile has a Covenant legacy. And they have a responsibility to this legacy that they cannot escape.

Though our legacies and responsiblities differ somewhat - for the time being - we have at last come together in trusting the one Lord that called us by His Spirit before there was an Eve, before there was an Adam, before there was a Garden.

When there was nothingness, God had a vision of you and me with myriads of souls that no man could number, each assigned a time to be born and a time to die. God designed, named, called forth our souls and loved us all, knowing even then that many of us would fail Him.

Then He created the heavens with many classes of angels after which He created the earth and formed the first man and woman, made of clay, designed in His image. They were unique, they were beautiful, they were the first earth-yielding, hand-crafted, Divine-breath-infused, pure life-giving blood-filled children of the Almighty God. And they were told to go forth and multiply...

When Adam and Eve were driven from the Garden of Eden because of their disobedience, Eve conceived for the first time. We will not go into the details of Cain and Abel, we will jump ahead to the birth of Seth, third son of Adam and Eve, the spiritual line that was restored after Abel was slain. Abel had begun the journey along the highway of the Seed to the woman, and now Seth would take up the cause.

Wonderful things to know and remember...

The average student who reads the Scriptures - even historically - pass over the genealogies of the Genesis patriots with impatience and disinterest. How many times through many many years have I heard Christians say, "I just can't handle all those "begats" and I just can't see why they are even listed...I don't bother to read them..."

Well, my friends, they are listed for a reason - so you and I can read, can verify and can appreciate our own ties with these revolutionaries and our descendencies from them. We should feel honored to be a child of Adam who was a son of God. I cannot say how many "greats" are in the line of great-grandfathers that extend all the way
back to Adam and to God, but I can assure you they exist and God knows which generation each of us fit into. And, I can tell you this...

It is a royal roll call of which we are a part. Whether we are Jew or Gentile, we are of their blood...

Adam was 130 years old when Seth was born and he lived another 800 years.

Seth was 105 years old when Enos was born and he lived another 807 years.

Enos was 90 years old when Cainan was born and he lived another 815 years.

Cainan was 70 years old when Mahalaleel was born and he lived another 840 years.

Mahalaleel was 65 years old when Jared was born, and he lived another 830 years.

Jared was 162 years old when Enoch was born and he lived another 800 years.

Enoch was 65 years old when Methuselah was born and he walked with God another 300 years before God took him.

The Holy Methuselah was 187 years old when Lamech was born and he lived another 782 years, dying just one week before the great flood.

Lamech was 182 years old when Noah was born and he lived another 595 years, dying just five years before the great flood. Both Lamech and Methuselah watched and rendered praises to God as Noah and his three sons built the mighty Ark, day by day, for decades, until their labors were finished and Methuselah had seen the animals gathering and the Ark filled. Just one week before the flood, Methuselah was gathered to his fathers and laid to rest in the Cave of Treasures.

Noah was 500 years old when Japheth, Shem and Ham were born, each being 90 to 100 years of age at the time of the great flood. They would grow up helping their father build the Ark, then stock and prepare it for their deliverance from the earth's first great judgment of wickedness.

The amazing part of this entire story is that not one relative of Noah's generation or his sons' generation, honored God. By the time Noah cut down his first tree, all of his relatives had gone the way of Cain. It was therefore the Word of the Lord that the earth was filled with violence. Not an aunt, an uncle, a cousin or in-law was saved with Noah and his family. Not one righteous soul, other than Noah, was found on the earth. How tragic to our thinking and our compassion that Noah and his family had to witness their loved ones abandoned by a loving God who had given them chance after chance after chance - 120 years of preaching and pleading, the witness of a Godly patriarch, an example of righteousness even in their midst, the warning of the flood to come, and they scorned it all...

It gives us pause to consider such a thing...

Considering the second great judgment is imminent...and has in fact begun.

Lamech, Noah's father, was 56 years old when Adam died. He knew all the patriots from Adam on down to his own son, Noah. He had witnessed the preaching of Enoch and when he was 113 years old he witnessed the taking of Enoch from the earth.

Seth died a mere 14 years before Noah was born.

Noah was 84 years old when Enos died. Noah knew all the patriarchs from Enos on down to his own sons - except Enoch. He did not know Enoch who was taken by the Lord before Noah was born.

We are all descended from Noah's three sons. We are all cousins, bearing the blood of Noah, his father and his grandfathers. They are our grandfathers too. Like the sons of Noah, we are the inheritance of the repentant Adam and Eve, the last-days descendants of the righteous first ten generations.

We are a holy nation of believers who follow the way of the patriots of the Revolutionary War of Mesopotamia, earth's first battle of Godliness against rebellion and wickedness and its culminating high seas drama. The great judge of the universe had rendered his verdict and cleansed His nostrils. He has warned the earth that another day is coming when he will again choose out men and women for a safe journey to a new beginning, far away from the second judgment that will fall on the wicked of this earth...

That day approaches. Many will vanish on that day and many more will be abandoned, left behind. They had their chance to see, to hear, and to receive God's great salvation through Jesus Christ. They refused it, they rejected it and they walked away. Like their wicked forbears who were left to the flood, they will be left to the judgments of the One they rejected.

Go...read...learn of your roots...be lifted up by the understanding that you are of good stock, pioneering stock, holy stock that paved the way for the Seed of the woman, that made the paths straight for Messiah, that were martyred for the Truth.

Then consider those today that are preparing for the possibility of a new Revolutionary War. Before Jesus takes us out of here we may have to revisit the times of our patriot fathers who walked and obeyed the Spirit of Holiness and no other, a walk that set their names and marked their places in the holy scriptures for all eternity. Forever they will be known and remembered as the very first revolutionaries for spiritual freedom and spiritual integrity. God bless these patriots forever, even the patriots of the American Revolution who fought for the same, and every soul that has fought since for the right and freedom to believe and worship God according to HIS Word - and not the dictates of men.

It isn't over yet. In greed for wealth and power, evil men and women have always fought against God's Kingdom. Today it is a fight to the finish. They will attempt to crush our spirits as well as our lives, and one must be strong and of a good courage if they are to overcome it. When it gets rough, remember your fathers who faced the first of the rough times. Remember Jesus on the Cross and the martyrs of all the ages. Remember those in our nation's recent wars and remember those who suffer today for the Word's sake.

Then, when you have given thanks for these brave souls, give wing to your own heart and look up, remembering, your redemption draweth nigh...
