Because You Didn't Care

You may not know it yet, but one day real soon you are going to cry your heart out and you are going to ask, "Why? - Why?- Why?"

The answer will be painful..."Because you didn't care..."

The warnings have come from credible sources that Americans will know relatively soon the fiery shakings of God's judgment, and that even the Godliest Believers among us will tremble (Pastor David Wilkerson). Then the warning came just weeks ago that the next terrorist attack on America will happen within the next few months (Juval Aviv), and one month of those "next few months" has already passed.

When it happens, there will scarcely be a person alive that is not in shock, all across this land there will be gut-wrenching mourning, dust-covered faces with blank-stares, the trembling of tear-wet lips bordering on hysteria, smoke, fire, destruction and confusion will be everywhere, and especially if these two calamities come at the same time or in close proximity to one another Either one, all by itself, would be sufficient to destroy whatever economy remains and plunge this country into a depression that will make the 1929 crash look good.

With the lack of government preparedness, based on what we have seen so far, don't expect FEMA or the Department of Homeland Security to be out there offering you blankets, a bottle of water, soap or a towel. There will be no one to give you a comb, a toothbrush, a clean shirt or shampoo for your dirt-matted hair. Unless state, local or faith based groups can rush to the sites targeted ( Juval Aviv warned of 5-8 scattered and simultaneous hits across the country), you will be on your own. Washington will not be able to respond immediately. Your state may or may not be able to help you right away. Your neighbor - if you still have a neighbor - just might be needing help from you!

"Where are all your friends? The ones you like to party with? And where are your co-workers? Where, 0 where are all those people that used to fill the streets this time of day?"

"Oh - there - lying everywhere - Somebody tell me - what has happened?"

"Get a grip. You are going to finally hear and see the unbridled truth you have been running away from all these years...

What you are about to hear will not be pleasant. But you have to hear it.

What you are about to see will not be pleasant. But you have to see it.

What you are about to do will not be pleasant. But you have to do it.

Here is the naked truth. This is all your fault. Yes, I said - your fault! I know you don't want to hear this right now, and I know you just want me to go away and leave you alone, but you see, that is the same attitude that caused all of this in the first place. Your shoulder-shrugging refusal to hear, to see, and to act destroyed this city and all these people.

You may be only one person out of a billion like-minded head-in-the-sand compatriots, but you, by virtue of your survival, must now face the guilt and the fear you find yourself afflicted with, and to face it honestly you must become a seeker of the truth. And, for your sake, I am going to hammer it in. This is your doing - this is what YOU did. You stand face to face with justice and still you do not see it. Look around you, take a good long look, remember the times you laughed and assured the gullible, "Don't listen to those Christians - they're all crazy."

Go ahead, scream if you want to, there is no one to care about your hysteria, they have their own confusion to deal with. You mean nothing to them right now, just as they meant nothing to you all along. You've been in denial for too long, truth has been set aside for too long, and now you see yourself as a lone and frightened soul that can't understand how this could happen to a superpower like America.

I realize you had no authority to suppress or allow such a horrible thing. I hear your defense that you are just an ordinary citizen, one voice in billions - but did you ever lift that one voice - once in awhile - or just once - in favor of the truth?

No, I'll talk - you be quiet - its time you listened...

First of all, there is no such thing as an ordinary citizen. To be ordinary, in the sense that you submit the word, is to be common, usual, average, trivial, everyday, mediocre, plain. Whereas I submit that there is no such American. American citizens are unique, they are different from the citizens of European, Asian or African nations. They are different from the citizens of the tropics, the continents "down under" and the Siberian wilderness. Americans are openly expressive, even the introverts will run away with delightful words once you open them up, and they will spill their private thoughts for hours.

Americans are either liberally subversive compatriots (treasonous countrymen) or they are God-fearing, red-blooded "Old Glory" patriots. There is no such thing as an "ordinary" American. Such a confession from any U.S. citizen is inexcusable. You are a child of the Republic with allegiance to God and country, or you draw from the dry cisterns of darkness where rats, roaches and spiders dwell. Both allegiances have their passion and passion is not ordinary...

Your indifference to a weakened decadent society has been obvious. Your complacency as a guardian of basic rights has been obvious. Your tolerance for "anything goes" has been obvious. You ignore the attacks on Christian liberties. You ignore the rights of the unborn. You deny God. You deny His Word. You deny that Sodom and Gomorrha ever existed. You deny, deny, deny, while you neglect your accountability and now you want to know why these things have happened.

This isn't exactly the way God wanted to break your heart. Oh, He wanted your heart to be broken for sure - but out of conviction for your sins and your fallen nature! He wanted you to come to Him with a broken and contrite heart to repent. He wanted you to have a living experience with Jesus Christ, He wanted you to believe Him and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

You see, you've been courting the wrong guy. You've been courting a guy that really hates you. He's just using you to get to others. He is the destroyer, a liar, a cheat, a thief and a deceiver. He comes to you to steal, kill and destroy. Apparently he has already hooked you with his charm. His name is Satan - or you may know him by other names - any liar or cheat you know will do - they all get their Ahab spirit from Satan...

You'll want to watch out for Jezebel too. She has a spirit of absolute control over those in her circles and she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She and Ahab are a team, possessed of Satan and they have no desire to be your friend. They desire to own you soul, mind and body from now through eternity. Their stooges can be found everywhere - in the liberal and independent churches, in Congress, in all phases of federal, state and local government, in the courts of the land, in the classrooms, on campuses, in big corporations, banking institutions and even in the White House.

You want to know why God has judged America? Because America bowed to the persuasions of Ahab and Jezebel instead of the Living God. Because the leaders and the judges in America cozied up to back-alley deals, payoffs and bribes while they thumbed their corrupt noses at the Triune God and the hard-working taxpayers. Because taxpayers good and bad did not do anything to stop it, and because God has endured all this stench in His nostrils that He is going to. He has had enough.

It's too late to say, "I'm sorry, Lord." People have died, babies cry in the streets and somebody has to accept responsibility. God has been calling to you for years and you have ignored Him. It is time - the time has come - you must confess that this is all your fault. You will have to confess your indifference, your coldness, your flippant attitude toward all things righteous.

You will have to shed tears the way Jesus wept in Gethsamane, you will have to experience the agonies of your guilt the way He suffered for all men on the Cross of Calvary. Your heart will have to be broken by your convictions so Jesus can mend it with His forgiveness, save you in His blood, and accept you into His Beloved. You will need His Grace to overcome the old ways and it will come.

Like the Apostle Paul, your Damascus Road experience will be too powerful to ignore anymore. You may not be able to save a whole city, but if you allow Christ to save you, many more will come through your testimony. With each one, God will be glorified and Jesus will be exalted. And you will be a new citizen of heaven, your name written down in the Lamb's Book of Life. And this most precious gift of His love can be yours when you have learned at last to truly care..."
