"THE TRUTH IS..." The Root Of Our Courage By now most of you have already read or heard David Wilkerson's latest warning to America and to the world: "AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE — EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US." The warning was first issued March 7th on Pastor Wilkerson's website, picked up by World Net Daily and in a single day it was republished on the internet by countless Christian websites and news sites. The link to the message is provided for you here: http://www.worldchallenge.org/coverletter/an_urgent_message If you have not yet read it, I would recommend you do so now. Pastor Wilkerson also recommends we not panic or allow the devil to put fear in us. That would be a gold star for him if he can succeed in bringing us to doubt in the Father's promise to watch over His own. According to the warning, Divine judgments are coming and, in keeping with the punishment of the nation, many Christians will find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time and they too will suffer, Christians will even die. But we are all just one breath away from eternity every minute of every day. It is important to keep that one breath pure and undefiled from the world. "He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee," declares the Apostle Paul. Pastor Wilkerson also offered his own practical preparedness as an example, and as he himself felt led to do...stock up enough food and supplies for one month and whatever we do, keep the love of God shining, glowing, radiating so others may witness its power and be saved. I really cannot add anything to Pastor Wilkerson's warning, except to say that I too have been warning the masses for years that this time was coming, and to prepare ahead of time for we do not know when it will happen. It could be in the middle of the day or the middle of the night. It could begin with an electrical storm, a terrorist attack or a series of whirlwinds. It could begin with earthquakes, volcanic eruptions or tsunamis. We do not know what to expect, except fires, we do know America will burn...and that is all we know...and we know this from the prophetic words of A.A. Allen, Dumitru Duduman and others, while the words of David Wilkerson are confirming. Because we do not know how soon or when to expect it, there is no time for us to fret and fear. Rather let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and let us honor Him, let us glorify the Father, and let us trust and obey the Holy Spirit. For some of us it may be the last chance we will have on this earth to minister the Lord Jesus Christ to another human being. For some of us it will be the last opportunity we have on this earth to truly repent, make amends for those things we have never really settled, wash our garments in the purest blood ever shed, and be made - for real - the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. For some, it will be a time of testing of their faith. For others it will be a time of growing in the faith. For all of us it will be a time to harvest souls and plant seeds for a late crop. When the Lord showed me the vision of chaos and destruction all around me, with troops in the streets (six years ago in Baltimore), He simply told me I would see it, He didn't tell me when it would happen. I am 76 years old, I will be 77 in September, so if I am to see it, it will happen soon. It could be the time Pastor Wilkerson is prophesying. I am trying to stay calm and spiritually prepared - instant in season and out of season - ready to minister to body and soul of any and all who come to my door, sent by Jesus. If my house stands, and if I still stand in it, I am prepared to treat the hunger and thirst of both body and soul of the fearful and those angry with God. I will explain His justice... My hopes and prayers go forth for all of you as I hope yours go forth for me and my humble attempt to live my faith, in the face of God only knows what. It may be my last reaching out - it may be yours - but we will reach out nonetheless for there is no other way for us but Christ who IS the way, the truth and the life... As long as we are able, we will stand as a light set on a hill. As long as we are able, we will endure... Joan Krempel
