"THE TRUTH IS..."

Friday Morning Fellowship by E-Mail

To All:

YHWH showed me many years ago that His Word is the FINAL Word. With God, all things are possible...within the constraints of His Word.

Is it possible to get to Heaven without receving the New Birth? No...that's not possible. Is it possible for the US to attack Israel and not get judged? No...that's not possible.

And is it possible for Obama to do all manner of wickedness and receive God's Blessings? No...that's impossible.

I've often heard people quote that verse in the context of, 'I can do anything no matter how hostile my actions are to God's commandments, and God will still bless me.' People who think like that have a HUGE rude awaking coming. The "church" has entirely left off the commandments of God's Word, and focus only on the blessings. They have left the FALSE impression that a person can live any old which way, and still be blessed by God. As Paul says YHWH may let it go for a season when you are a baby Christian, but when you begin to get older in the Lord, YHWH fully expects us to grow up and learn to live right, which entails OBEDIENCE! Look at the Judgments Bush brought on the US by his continual hostility towards Israel!

Yes, God gives Grace to the REPENTANT, but to the UNrepentant, there is nothing but Judgment and Wrath. How do I know? Because the God that Obama thinks will bless him said so.

How long will the "church" stick its head in the sand and deny what God plainly said in His Word? This is the path America has taken, and this is why Judgment has come. Preachers are even lobbying lawmakers to get laws passed to make it a crime to say ANYTHING is sin anymore...right here in America!

Judgment is coming. So says the Lord.

I can't believe preachers are lobbying to ban the condemnation of sin. Preachers??? What kind of preachers??? Certainly not Godly ones. If this is true, such preachers are calling God a liar when He declares the consequences of sin, and they are calling HIm a terrorist, a racist, a radical and a right wing conspirator because he condemns sin. Okay guys - this means we just have to speak louder than they do - shout louder than they do and warn the masses everywhere we find them that God cannot be mocked - and they cannot be saved by the placations of a sin-appeasing preacher. It is war on this here land - I mean it is war.

I agree with Bud - there is no room for compromise of the Word of God. If God says it, that settles it, otherwise we are butting heads with God. It is good to stand in faith and believe God for a miracle. It proves our faith in Him alone to do what man cannot do. But if God has warned against lukewarm and irreverant behavior (which offends Him) and there is no true repentance coming from the heart of the sinner, God cannot bring that which is unholy into His Son's Kingdom. The Son has spoken, the Father has spoken, and only the Holy Spirit can draw a man to repentance at the Cross of Jesus. It is prayer that moves God to woo the sinner and it is  prayer that gives birth to miracles. All things are indeed possible with God to those that believe - when true faith grabs hold and refuses to let go when the circumstances do not agree with a stubborn faith.

When God commands a thing, by His Word, we have to obey that command whether it is comfortable at the moment of not. He who sees all, hears all and knows all is better qualified to order our lives than we are. Our job is to trust - and obey -

God wants us all to be firebrands - more than overcomers - more than conquerors. And firebrands cannot be the torch of holy fire without the anointing of obedience - as in Joshua with Moses -

What a beautiful morning here in Virginia - Good Morning to you all -

Joan

As your post states, Joan: the storm clouds are gathering. In my own heart, I sense from the Lord a companion thought, "conditions on the ground have changed."

Firebrands? Yes ... I like that.

Today I will ponder & pray. Conditions on the ground have indeed changed, and with breakneck speed we are catapulted into unimaginable circumstances. With every breath, every step I beg for wisdom for the way.

May the Lord's church bring honor and glory to His precious name! May it begin with me.

Hugs,

Kathleen

Amen-and A-men. Yes, conditions on the ground have changed greatly - there is a darkness hovering over the land shading the colors with dread, but this spiritual darkness is not a threat to us - we are the conquerors of dread and darkness, we are the overcomers of fear and compromise, we are the firebrands that stand and say to the enemy, "Fall" and he falls.

Today is a new day - and though there be a thousand of the enemy at my right hand and ten thousand at my left, God will not abandon me and I will not abandon Him. If I fall in the line of battle, He will lift me up and dress my wounds. If I can lift my sword to slay one more giant, eagles will carry me on their wings to sever his head.

Join me this morning in this - that we will never never never deny the power of the Word of God, that we will stand in its life-giving light and declare the oracles of God no matter what. That we will walk in His ranks to the beat of His drum, and we will obey His commands as they are given. That we will not look to the left or to the right but we shall keep our focus on Jesus, and our allegiance to the sword of God...

I'm in!

Years ago, as I was studying about God's leading, the concept of "swordsmen" wove its way into the endeavor. The Lord quickened this in my spirit:

He leads us by the right hand, with His right hand. That means He's not only ahead of us, but facing us as we go forward. It also means our left hand (symbolic of the weaker limb) grows strong in the wielding of the sword, even as we grip His hand.

I could go on and one about His right hand, and our right hand (the scriptural connections are limitless), but here's a few that have strengthened me (and my left hand) often:

Psalm 20:5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the LORD grant all your requests.

6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Psalm 109:26 Help me, O LORD my God; save me in accordance with your love.

27 Let them know that it is your hand, that you, O LORD, have done it.

28 They may curse, but you will bless; when they attack they will be put to shame, but your servant will rejoice.

29 My accusers will be clothed with disgrace and wrapped in shame as in a cloak.

30 With my mouth I will greatly extol the LORD; in the great throng I will praise him.

31 For he stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save his life from those who condemn him.

Isaiah 45:1 "This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

2 I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

3 I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

Rabbi Hanivey showed me years ago a Scripture that says when this is all over, and YHWH has utterly purged us of all sin, THEN we WILL be allowed to look upon His face.

No, I don't remember the numerical reference, sorry.

Bud.

*****************************

What a beautiful confirmation!

You know, I have had (still do) the sense that looking into God's face is simply a metaphor for His familiarity with me/us as individuals. It's the sort of gaze one sees when a child looks on their mother, and the mother the child. Doting, nurturing, empowering, intimate ... love! Thus I have not seen the Father's face either ... but I know beyond doubt that gaze.

Be blessed!

Kathleen

That scriptural reference is Revelations 22:4

Joan

*****************************

Cool.

The Scripture the good Rabbi showed me was in the OT, somewhere... so once again we see the NT simply re-tells the same things as the OT.

Bud.

****************************

Okay - Psalm 17:15 - Old Testament

Joan

Thanks much,

Bud

Psalm 17:15: "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness."

Revelations 22:4:  And they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.
