"THE TRUTH IS..."

The Storm Clouds Are Gathering

When Bonnie Payne and I were in Israel in 2002, the Lord spoke audibly and clearly and He said, "The storm clouds are gathering."

Behind closed doors, a handful of Antiochus Epiphanes type vultures, with a few fair-weather partners, were scheming and weaving their plots against Israel and America. A more recent discernment confirms, "They still are - and the conditions for their plot are favorable..."

Just one year prior to that trip, on 9-12-01, the day after 9-11, the Lord told a prophetess in Washington, D.C. to call me and tell me that famine was coming. She said His voice carried such an urgent tone that she called me immediately on her cell phone. That was seven years ago last September, and as I understand it, thousands of prophets, teachers, intercessors and laymen across this country received the same message and all have spent the past seven years preparing for it. Today I have a clearer understanding of that warning. Every time I go to the supermarket I cringe at the rising prices. And so do you, if you pay attention at all...

For this week's sharing, I had thought I would write something light and warming to the soul but the Spirit of the Lord has been pressing me since yesterday to, "blow the shofar - warn them - tell them and prepare them..."

There are so many out there, even among the faithful, who are like those first century saints who wrote to Paul crying hysterically that they feared they were in the middle of the tribulation and had missed the Rapture. Paul had to shake his head, tug at his robes and grimace with a little frustration. They actually believed the Rapture had already happened, yet they had written Brother Paul a letter - and believe it or not, there are addlebrained Christians just like this in our churches today. They are taught just enough to alert them, but not enough to give them solid foundations for sound reasoning. And mercy upon mercy, they wouldn't even try to read and understand it for themselves...

Then there are those who believe the tribulation has already begun and that Javier Solana is the antichrist. There are others who believe there will be no Rapture at all and that we will go through the whole seven years of tribulation. Others believe the end-time prophecies are allegories, myths or parables that are meant to encourage the saints but really have no end-time prophetic weight. These do not believe in a literal Rapture, tribulation or millennial rule by Jesus Christ. They believe in a resurrection of the righteous, ascending into heaven, and that is that for eternity...

I sometimes lose patience with these misinformed, mistaught and misguided pilgrims but because God loves them so much, He keeps sending them voices of truth whether they hear or whether they forbear. They are precious souls but they are listening to the solace of the wolf instead of the teachings of the Lamb. And because Jesus is returning for those that are looking for Him, these saints could be left behind.

The world is expecting "the four horsemen of the apocalypse" and "Armageddon," but the world does not understand the terms they are so glib to pronounce. Ask any Joe or Jane on the street if the four horsemen have arrived on the earth and, with total lack of knowledge, they will stammer and stutter with giggles or a shaky dread because they can't give you a straight answer. If you ask them who the four horsemen are, they don't know that either.

Ask them about Armageddon and they know it pertains to the end of the world - that much they know - at least that is what they will tell you. What they don't know is that they have it all wrong - it is not the end of the world! Nevertheless, that is what they have heard on the media and at the pub, so it must be so...so they say...

When the four horsemen arrive, and it will be very soon now, the world will not be ready. It will not recognize the horsemen when they come galloping in, one at a time, nor will they recognize the times of Divine judgment they are entering. They are totally unprepared because they have never read or  studied the Bible for themselves, and this makes it possible for them to be deceived by the new one-world-leader the Bible calls, the antichrist.

He will be an economic genius who will promise to lift the nations up again to their former wealth and prosperity. His charisma will be without precedent, his charm will surpass and leave standing the flatteries of the current American president.

The horror that rides with him will nurture itself in the weakness, ignorance and pride of the world's billions who are accustomed to the darkness, who have never searched for the light of life, and so they will not see the blackness of death in the man that comes to deceive them. All they will see is money - good times - nice things - with no preaching or condemnation from those Jesus freaks - "thank goodness those troublemakers are gone..."

("And we'll not allow this new crop of Christians to trouble us either. Arrest them - send them to the detention centers - off with their heads...")

The storm clouds are gathering.., we can hear the thunder now...

The Holy Spirit, speaking for the Bridegroom, has alerted the Bride, saying - "Make yourself ready - I am coming for you soon." Then lowering his voice he reminds us, "You will be tested, you will be tried, you will be persecuted for my Name's sake and many of you will die for your testimony of me. But he that endures to the end shall be saved."

From all across this land, from all around the world, the testimonies are pouring forth and the battle between the light and the darkness is raging.  It has been so with light and darkness from the beginning, but the world as we know it is nearing the end of its rule by despots. This means that Satan's desperation has exceeded its former intensity and his brutal push for bloodshed is at the top of the chart...

I don't tell you these things to frighten you but to prepare you for the things that are coming. These are the warnings Jesus gave us in Matthew 24 and 25, I have just worded them a bit differently. And just as He warned also, many will die of pure panic, their hearts failing them for fear of those things coming on the earth...

We must remember this: Jesus warned that those that seek to save their lives by compromise, will lose their lives (even their eternal lives). God will  not compromise His Word and Jesus will not compromise the power of the Cross. So those that choose to sacrifice their mortal lives rather than compromise their testimony of Jesus, will save their lives, their immortal eternal lives.

This choice will be made by millions during the tribulation years. There will be those that choose to take the mark and live, and there will be those that choose to die rather than take the mark (symbol of the beast's ownership). God warns that anyone  who takes the mark of the beast - for any reason -  has sold their soul to Satan for Satan's favors and can never again be redeemed. If we love this life more than we love God, we will betray Him and go with Satan. If we love God more than we love our own life, we will let go of our life here and go with God...

Whatever happens to bring chaos and destruction to the world before the Rapture takes place and the tribulation begins, there will be shortages of food, water, fuel and other needed supplies. Remember that the antichrist comes to the world stage riding a white horse, he comes as a peacemaker, that means there will be wars raging in the earth before he comes, nations rising against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms.

I just learned the latest, posted today: our Congressmen are stampeding the gun stores to buy firearms and ammunition and secure licenses to carry their arms at all times. These elected officials know something and they are not telling Americans what they know. I heard an earlier word a few days ago that soon, very soon, all hell is going to break loose in this country, whatever that means, and it probably means, "The storm clouds are gathering...the thunder rolls..."

So you will know what you are dealing with, when that time comes, it will most assuredly be pre-tribulation sifting and testing of the saints. These  trials by fire will determine who is serious with God and who just wants to save their flesh.

If you have been told you can come to Christ and recite the ritual words of a prayer someone tells you to repeat, if you believe you can just walk away  then without repenting and without facing your sins, I warn you my friend, you are not saved. There is no cheap Grace. There is no forgiveness of sins, no salvation or redemption without repentance and there can be no repentance without brokenness of heart and spirit.

This usually involves tears and buckets of remorse. Without it you are just mumbling words you can't honor when the going gets tough. Unless you experience the Living Christ and the washing of His blood on the inside of you, unless you can know that you know above all else that you are clean, that you have been accepted in the Beloved, then you have not broken through the darkness of your pride, and you will have no substance of faith to strengthen you in the day of trouble.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse cannot leave the stables until the Bride is removed from the earth in a literal Rapture. And they cannot ride in their unholy terror until God gives the signal. He may leave them chomping at the bit for weeks, months or a year after the Rapture before He turns them loose, in any case, they have no power to ride or to terrorize except the power God gives them.

The word says, "...and power was given to him..."(Rev. 6:4), as they execute the judgments of God upon the whole earth. These cannot come, the antichrist cannot be revealed, until the restrainer (the Holy Spirit) is removed from the earth, and the Holy Spirit cannot be removed without removing the saints of God who are filled with the Spirit.

In Rev. 4:4 we see twenty-four elders around the throne of God, sitting, clothed in white raiment, and wearing crowns of gold. These represent the true Church, the faithful that were formerly on the earth. These are the Raptured ones. They have received their glorified bodies for they are wearing robes of pure white linen (you can't hang a robe on a spirit). And they have already been to the judgment seat of Christ, for the trying of their works, for they are wearing their crowns of gold. In Rev. 4:10-11 these same elders (the Church) cast their crowns before the throne, praising and worshipping the Lord who sits upon the throne.

So be assured the Rapture must take place before the antichrist can be revealed on the earth or the 70th week of Daniel can begin. In the first few verses of Chapter 5 we see Jesus taking the sealed scroll from the hand of the Father and, in Verse 9 the elders of the Church sing a new song, praising the Lamb who has redeemed us to God by His blood, redeeming us "out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation." That my friends, is evidence of the Rapture before the horsemen ride or the tribulation begins. When Jesus breaks the first seal, the first horseman rides forth on a white horse in Chapter 6. He is the antichrist...

The antichrist will not be Javier Solana. He is too old and does not have the credentials. The antichrist will not be Barack Obama. He is not qualified. The antichrist will not be Henry Kissinger. He is not qualified. He will not be Bill Clinton or Al Gore. Neither of these men are qualified.

So what are the credentials and qualifications of the antichrist? He will be young to middle aged. Remember that Jesus began His ministry at age 30 and He was crucified at age 33-1/2. His ministry lasted three and a half years. The seven-years of Jacob's trouble will be divided into two three and one half year periods.

Jesus accomplished more in His three and a half years of ministry than most men accomplish in a lifetime. Never has one man made such an impact on the world, never has such an impact endured with so much  power to this present day.

It is no wonder Satan hates us so much. We ARE the Kingdom that Jesus the Christ built, and we ARE the reason He built it. Remember too that Satan is a mimic as well as a deceiver. The antichrist will mimic the signs, miracles and wonders of Christ, but with the dark powers of Satan, and he will be extremely charming as he seduces the people and the nations with flatteries.

He will be an economic genius, a military genius and a political genius. He will have been trained in the skills of flying a jet, commanding a ship and leading an army. He will be qualified to lead the armies of the world, set the economy on track and run his own office with political savvy. He will depend only and always on his fortresses (military forces) to accomplish his will and for this reason, he will see to it they are the most powerful  forces in the world.

He will come to power as a peacemaker, but he will be the maker of wars. He will have no god of his own, he will be his own god, and his partner, the false prophet, will command the people to bow down to him and worship him. He will have roots with political or familial ties to Rome, or he will be a naturalized citizen of Rome, either by birth or by inheritance. He will not be a ladies' man, he will not be distracted by the whims of sensual or ambitious women. He will look like any other statesman-servant of the people, but he will be a devil.

There is only one man in this world that I know of who can produce all of these credentials and qualifications. He is the right age, with the right training and background. He is a prince and he is a son of Rome.

At this time he is in the back wings, a prince and heir apparent to the throne, a genius in economics, the skills the world is desperate for today. He already has a following, also waiting and working and watching the storm. Of course, it is entirely possible he does not know who he is. It is possible he has no clue concerning his destiny. A man might be prince charming until Satan invades his worldly soul and changes his fortune forever.

I would be speculating of course if I told you his name. And though he may appear to be qualified he may not be the antichrist after all. It is quite possible there is another with the necessary credentials and qualifications. Again, we will not speculate out loud...

Although we are to watch the fast-moving scenes and events of this world with interest, the true identity of the antichrist cannot be revealed until  Jesus takes us home. Consequently, we must not concern ourselves with who the antichrist is. We must prepare ourselves for the persecutions that are coming through the front-running spirits of antichrist that are already filling the earth with violence.

Whatever comes, whatever temptations or terrors assail each of us, we must look up and count it a blessing that we have been found worthy to suffer for His sake as He suffered for ours. Jesus said, "There is no greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend..."

And except we have that pure and unconditional love within us, for all men, we cannot see God...
