"THE TRUTH IS..."

The Germanic Face of Assyria

Last week we were reminded of the ancestral heritage we all share in the first ten generations of creation:

Adam
Seth
Enos
Cainan
Mahalaleel
Jared
Enoch
Methuselah
Lamech
Noah

Every person born upon this earth since the Great Flood has shared in this heritage - including Our Lord Jesus Christ. There will never be another flood that covers the earth, God promised Noah. There will be correcting punishments and pleading judgments and there will even be the poured-out wrath of God’s holy anger in the seasons to come, but for those hearts that believe, for those souls born-again, the penalty for personal, even generational sin, was paid in full at Calvary.

Were the patriarchal fathers of Genesis (Chapter 5) covered at Calvary? You bet they were!

Were the Old Testament saints covered? You bet they were!

Didn’t they find comfort in Abraham’s bosom? Didn’t Simeon and Anna tell them their eyes had looked upon the Christ as an infant eight days old? Didn’t Joseph, earthly father to Jesus, tell them in humble words about the child that grew up all too soon into a young man with a Divine destiny? And of course, John the Baptist encouraged them in that place after he was beheaded! He preceded Jesus in life by six months and he preceded Him in death, preparing the way for the Lord’s visitation to the land of the living and afterward, to those comforted and waiting in the presence of Abraham. How their spirits must have soared on hearing these reports…

“He’s coming,” John the Baptist told them, “It won’t be long now. He’s coming to take us out of here…”

Did the blood shed at Calvary cover the whole world? You bet it did - from corner to corner, in every cavern cubby-hole, beneath every broom tree and behind every woodland bush! One cannot hide from God, He will send His Word or He will show Himself, and when the storm of judgment comes, there will be no excuses.

Cain slew Abel and Cain was banished, destined to be a fugitive all of his life. So what happened to Cain and his bunch when the floods came? They drowned, having never repented and having never walked with God.

The children of Cain in all their 11th and 12th generations and even the heathen children and siblings of the patriarchs, together with their children in their generations, drowned because they allowed themselves to be seduced and deceived by Cain’s bunch. These were hordes of revelers that mocked and scorned the Godly patriarchs and those wives and children that walked with them by faith. Apparently they all passed away before the flood or these righteous souls would have entered the Ark with Noah…

The children of the night had heard the preaching of Noah for the past 120 years and before that the preaching of Methuselah, and before that, the preaching of Methuselah’s father Enoch, whom God took. The children of the night had laughed, and God heard…

This is why we are still here – God is patient in getting the Word out to those that have not heard, and that Word is going into every country in the world as you read this, including the Muslim nations and hard-to-reach places.

We serve a caring God who will not risk the eternal loss of a single soul just because many in the Church are anxious for the Rapture to occur.  Sometimes the saints forget there are yet millions who have no joy because they have no Word. Sometimes we forget there was a time when we too were lost, without hope, and then…somebody touched us.

Sometimes we just need to remember where we came from…and thank God for the men and women who continue to go into these tight places to take the Gospel.

When the last page of the Lamb’s Book of Life has been filled, all the books will be closed, and the Bride will go out to meet her Bridegroom in the Rapture of the Church. Meanwhile…

“The priorities of a man are the reflection of his character. The priorities of a woman are the reflection of her practical knowledge. The priorities of children are the reflection of what they hear and see in the man and the woman…”

There is an old saying, “The more things change the more they stay the same.” When we read the prophecies and see how faithfully God has brought every one of them to pass, we can look at the prophecies for today and know beyond the shadow of a doubt that these too will come to pass just as they are written. But some things are not so clear – some things are hidden and have to be studied as one would study the blueprint of a man’s life….

When the Assyrians captured the ten northern Israeli tribes out of Samaria they took them to Assyrian towns and cities as slaves. Generations later, after the Assyrian Empire fell and the Israelites had lost their identity, their language and their religion, the Assyrians and the simulated Israelites - who didn’t know they were Israelites – migrated northwest where they established a new home, a country we know today as Germany. Most of the Israelites however pressed forward, perhaps by Divine guidance, toward the coastlands of Western Europe and the British Isles, and generations after that, to the Americas.

So, the German high commands that forced the world into two devastating world wars in the 20th century, separated by a mere 21 years, was the new Germanic face of the old barbaric Assyrian…

The Scriptures warn us that Germany (Gomer) will march again, this time in the ranks of Gog of Magog (Ezekiel 38-39). But this time, the German (Assyrian) bullies will not slaughter and plunder as they have in the past. This time the German, (the Assyrian), whatever he chooses to call himself, will fall on the mountains of Israel, never to rise again.

Do not weep for the Assyrian…he long ago chose his path against God, and God used him as a correcting rod to drive the ten northern tribes out of Samaria. Today they live among the Gentiles and most of them do not even know they are the lost descendants of Jacob. But God knows each and every one of them and where they are…

The world must not soon forget the chemical gassings in World War One and the holocaust of World War Two. Only a hardened heart could forget so soon…

The Babylonian Empire fell as well, to Cyrus of the Medes (and Persians). In time the Babylonians began leaving the land that we know today as Iraq, the lands of the Nimrod bunch that built the tower of Babel, and the land of the Chaldees where Abraham was born. These migrated to Italy where they taught the natives about their sun-day gods and superstitions. There, in the spirit of Nimrod, they established a new tower under Heaven known as the mighty Roman Empire.

This vast movement was governed by murderers and mad men called Caesars who invented crucifixion and other brutal means of torture, while they made slaves of half the world. Yes, they built roads and communities, and established civilized governing, banishing barbarism and the blood sacrifices of pagan cults, but their own brutalities cannot be forgotten either.

Today the Italians (Babylonians) support the revival of the Roman Empire through the European Union, the Club of Rome, and the approaching timely appearance of the charming and demonic antichrist with his own personal set of Roman (Babylonian) roots.

During the recent two world wars Italy crawled into bed with Germany – that is – the Babylonians crawled into bed with the Assyrians - strange bedfellows wouldn’t you say? There is an old Arabian saying, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” and it is exhibited more clearly today than at any other time in history. Ancient and embattled enemies making alliances against an enemy they hate more than they do each other…

Hitler and Mussolini made their bed and they lay down in it together, and they both died in the wickedness of it…

So we can see history is preparing to repeat itself. The old foes – Assyria and Babylon – having raised their swords several times since changing their faces and their names – will invade the children of Israel one more time – and this “one more time” will be their last…

The violence that filled the earth in Noah’s day is filling the earth again. And while the ten Godly fathers wait in Heaven’s portals to observe the supernatural “snatching” from the earth, we are joined in watching the skies for the show to begin.

And while we are waiting we have to concern ourselves with the threats of another ancient that, today, is called Iran. In the old days, when Iran was called Persia, or Media-Persia, it was friendly and quite generous to Israel. All it takes is one mad man holding a fistful of power to destroy a couple of nations he has set on a dangerous course – his own country and the land of Israel, the people he sadly hates with a passion. Ahmadinejad is no Cyrus…

Iran and Syria will not break their unholy alliance. They are covenanted in a military pact. If either goes to war with Israel or the U.S. the other will lend support against the infidels. Iran has the money but no military genius. Russia has no money but they have abundant military experience. Russia will lead the Muslim armies with all their modern, up to date high-tech weapons, and Iran will pay the bill. Russia wants Israel’s oil and warm water seaports. Iran says, “It’s a Deal” – we don’t need the oil or the ports. Just kill – destroy them all – and leave not one…”

When the Palestinians see the dust of the armies moving through the Bekka Valley, the smoke of Damascus burning, then the burning of Lebanon, Hamas and the Palestinians will flee Israel into the surrounding Arab countries. They will not even look back to see if their children are keeping up. There will be no stragglers in their flight and they will never return…

Only the Christian Palestinians will remain to support and help their Jewish neighbors.

But with this recent invasion of Russia into Georgia, the introduction of Gog is whispered from the winds of the day and from the mist of the night…Gog of Magog is not afraid of the world of men, and he is not afraid of the world of spirits…he is not afraid of George Bush or Tony Blair and he is not afraid of Javier Solana. He is not afraid to bully his neighbors and those that he can intimidate. He is not afraid of any antichrist that might arise, he is not afraid of hell. He is coming to rule the earth and he will begin with his march south to take the Caucasus, Turkey and the land of Israel…

The events of this week were a dress rehearsal for that march. Prime Minister Putin had to know for sure – if he invaded Georgia, how would the nations of the world respond? The answer is found in Ezekiel 38:11-13: silly questions were asked but no nation called his bluff, not one nation stepped up to the plate to help Georgia. No President, Premier, Prime Minister or King of this world challenged the bully and no one – I mean no one – called on NATO or the UN troops to rush to Georgia’s aid.  It was a mockery of the UN and NATO – what good are they if they can not, will not and do not stop such bullying and atrocities wherever they occur.

As tragic as it was, it was a dress rehearsal for Russia – now she knows she can go forward with her coalition of Islamic nations (Ezekiel 38:5-6) to take tiny Israel. No one will challenge her and no one will stop her…

In the 1990s, just after the fall of Communism and the Berlin wall, Russia was bankrupt. She appealed to the West for financial help. We gave our help with taxpayer dollars. Today, Russia is wallowing in billions, gained mostly in the arms deals she has made with third world radical countries that hate Israel and the West. Today we are in financial straits, we owe trillions of dollars to the same countries we have saved, helped, fed, and delivered from tyrants over the last one hundred years, but no one has come to our aid. I know we shouldn’t expect repayment, but it would be nice just to hear, “Thank you, friend.” And it would be nice if old friends didn’t forget old friends…

It has been 45 years since President John Kennedy stared down the Russians in the Cuban Missile Crisis. It has been twenty years since President Ronald Reagan ordered Gorbachev to “tear down this wall.” We have not had a strong president since then, a man of guts and grit, a man of basic principles – not politically correct principles but the kind that endured a night at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, the principles that Moses expressed to Pharaoh, Joshua expressed to the nation of Israel, the principles of Paul Revere, shared by the farmers who defended this land, and the principles that General George Washington expressed to the troops at the crossing of the Delaware…principles a Godly man will stand by and defend…

Only God can help us out of the mess we are in today…

Today America needs help. Let us not be so arrogant and filled with pride we cannot humbly seek the Lord concerning our dangerous position. I know – I know – a lot of our debts were caused by corruption, support of abortions, support of personal interest groups and quite possibly, lobbyist blackmailing, as well as undeserved congressional benefits and raises while so many of our people are hungry, homeless and desperate for a job.  We are guilty on all these counts – and more – much more – too many Americans suffer today and will suffer tomorrow unless we repent and cry out to God for our national forgiveness and the restoration of our national righteousness.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem – pray for the deliverance of America…
