Define "Change" Change is something we collect in one hand after purchases at the mall or the supermarket. It is the jingle in the pocket that used to be dollars in the billfold. There are also winds of change that steer us in new directions, sometimes suddenly, without warning, whether we are prepared or not. Sometimes these changes are for the good and sometimes they come with the storms of adversity that test our faith and try our courage. God admonished Joshua on his entering Canaan, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed: for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). These words remain a fortress of encouragement, especially to the saints of today. We are not always prepared for the change in a new direction. While Joshua was ready to end the wandering years of the Exodus and begin the new direction that would mean the conquest of Canaan, and though he had prepared himself and prepared Israel’s army for forty years, he still had to take the cities, one at a time, and this was sure to test his strength, his courage and his absolute obedience. As it is so often when we are thrust into the heat of the battle with the suddenness of a single shout, the highly anointed Joshua was about to be tested… Although we should expect directional changes when we reach various plateaus in our lives, the suddenness of their arrival often grabs us with a certain anticipation and says, "Climb aboard - we're going to churn up the waves in a brand new boat.” Of course, there are other times when change comes on the winds of dread and says, "Don't be afraid, every new adventure is a risk..." As I said, this single verse of encouragement applies as well to the saints of today, especially today, when “change” is in the wind, in the skies and on the ground. The Church has journeyed through the wilderness of unbelief and rejection for two thousand years and our wanderings are also about to end. Has the Church circled the Globe seven times, blowing the trumpet of an anticipated victory? Who can know or give account of such a thing? We may not recall all of the battle previews we have been a part of, but we can see and know the finish when, as it was in the days of Joshua and Jericho, the walls and the enemies of this world will fall and Christ will reign on the earth for a thousand years and in eternity forever. Prepare yourselves, for we are about to experience change we didn’t ask for, didn’t anticipate, and are totally unprepared for. Expect the violence of TV entertainment to show up on the streets of our cities. Expect inflation to increase. Expect a shortage of food supplies. Expect betrayal from those you call your friends. Expect deception in the family. Expect to hide, to go underground, and to separate yourself from loved ones who refuse to trust what you say. Expect changes you cannot accept because of your faith, and expect the unexpected to follow you wherever you go. Study Matthew 24… These changes have already begun, and like labor pains, they will increase and intensify until we cry out for deliverance. The Church will not escape the purging, the sifting and the separating that is just ahead. This is not the tribulation or the battle of Armageddon because Jesus said we, the saints, would go through these times. What the world is about to witness is Divine judgment with heavy losses upon specific nations – the scheming blood-chasing destroyers of Israel. In America we witness the radical legislation of the one-world advocates and their partnering Laodicean apostates who seek to pull down and overthrow the Christ of Christianity. Blatantly, these reptilian power-grabbers use the little foxes to destroy our tender grapes as school yards and campuses across the land join the fight to outlaw the name of Jesus in public places. If they win this fight, what will they do in the day of trouble? The Bible and the Word of God are very clear. The nation that rejects God will be rejected. It will be stripped of its wealth and might and it will be humiliated before the nations of the world, then it will be mightily judged and destroyed by God. We would do well to remember Sodom and Gomorrah, Babylon, Moab, Edom, the Philistines and Nineveh. There will always be an Israel and a son of the Jewish tribe of Judah to sit on the throne of David. But America, in the throes of betrayal, faces her deadliest change today after 400 years since that first landing in 1607. This new change threatens her very existence. Liberal traitors who would surrender her sovereignty and destroy her independence surround her once-sacred halls and fill her now defiled courts, positioned for the slaughter of, “One Nation, Under God.” Tragically, no one is listening to the warnings… Today we hear a lot about "change" in the Presidential election campaigns. Please, Barack Obama, define for me in plain words the "change” that you have planned for America. Hillary Clinton has said you are all talk and no solutions. Meanwhile you, supposedly a diplomat, dubbed Hillary Clinton “likable enough.” From where I sit, it’s the same old “trade of insults” between Democrat contenders. That means, there has been no change in the ethics of the Democrats, and without improvement in conduct, there can be no improvement in the country – at least not by way of the Democrats… Whatever happened to women who dressed like women and behaved like the refined ladies they were meant to be in polite society? Clare Booth Luce, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy, Pat Nixon, Nancy Reagan? Where is Lady Etiquette? And where did all the men go that behaved as gentlemen in the presence of ladies? Someone may want to write an editorial on, “Whatever happened to polite society?” or, “Today’s Democrats – all crass and no class.” Hillary, you had eight long years in the White House when Bill was probably the most toxic president in American history. You had ample opportunity to jump-start and bring to fruition the solutions you say today you can accomplish. So, why didn't you accomplish them then? Why have you waited fifteen years, promising these solutions on the campaign trail? Was it your plan to let Americans suffer for fifteen – sixteen years so you could use these sufferings as campaign issues? Doesn’t it bother you to use such prolonged sufferings as leverage to sweep you into the White House for a second chance? We trusted you once, Hillary Clinton, and you let America down. (Don’t you ever wear a skirt? Do you think wearing pants all the time lends a sense of masculine strength to your image? If so, even this illusion is a lie.) We simply cannot trust you again. Barack Obama, you are a freshman senator, you aren't even dry behind the ears yet - your socks are still soaked from the mud-holes you couldn't resist and your black cloak of an anti-military national suicide is giving me a headache. You insult our troops, withhold help from our Homeland Intelligence Agencies and support “Damn America” speech from your pastor. You spurn the American flag, refusing to salute it, you hob-knob with men of treasonous and corrupt connections and you want to be President!!! And Commander-In-Chief!!! Not on my watch, Mr. Obama, not if I can help it… First your lovely wife, Michelle, said America is “a mean country.” In a separate speech, she said that she finally, for the first time in her adult life, was proud of her country. Such statements have disqualified her as the role model of First Lady of this great land. And you, Barack Obama, had the audacity to say, "America is the greatest nation on earth - and we're going to change it.” What is on your mind, Senator?” Better yet, what is in your pocket - pennies or dollars? If its dollars you are not spending your own money. You’re spending mine. If you have a pocketful of pennies, you could be one of us - but I want to see more. Empty your pants pockets, Barack Obama, and open your billfold...you too, Hillary Rodham Clinton... Change indeed! You speak of change as if it were easy - without cost and without risk. You speak of things you know nothing about. You speak of changes that would rend the hearts of the young and crush the hearts of the old. Change is costly, Senator. And already we are in an economic crisis. Can we trust you with the pennies we have left??? Not me, sir, not me! I’ve seen the reports of the new budget the Democratic Congress approved, and I have come to the conclusion you are all sick…and insolent to think Americans are that stupid… And what about these disturbing sermons you say you never heard but condemn anyway? How can a man who preaches hate and division be a Godly mentor for a future President of the United States? And how can an American with political aspirations attend anti-Israel gatherings as the guest speaker and hope to hide such Islamic alliances from Israel-supporting Americans and an Israel-supporting Congress? You are deceptive, Barack Obama, utterly deceptive - a pretender of the most dangerous kind. Pharisee! White washed tomb! Hypocrite! There is only one real Jesus, but He is portrayed in this world with many faces, and sometimes - too often in fact - He is misquoted, misunderstood, misinterpreted and mistaken for a false Messiah. "Oh, He was a good teacher and a great prophet, but HE was no Son of God..." So say the mockers, the scorners, the doubters, the heathen and - too many leaders of the free world - whom you, Barack Obama, have run the distance to hang your hat with… If you really knew Jesus, and I mean really knew Him, intimately and daily, you would know how He loves the little children. You would never be able to support abortion and the deliberate killing of babies that survive abortions. Your voting record that is available for all to see cannot lie for you, Barack Obama. It speaks your ignorance of the love and the grief of Jesus over these little ones you have no problem killing off. How can you look upon your own daughters and not see how precious a little child is? How can you not see the tears on the face of the Savior over the plight of His little ones - little ones you have lifted your hand against? You have the blood of innocents on your hands, Barack Obama. And when you speak against Israel, when you align yourself with Israel’s enemies, you touch the apple of God’s eye and in that moment you become the enemy of God with the blood of Israelis on your hands… And so does Hillary Clinton… I'm mad? You bet! I am furious, outraged, that a young senator from Illinois has the audacity to try to convince conservatives and evangelicals that he knows Jesus and is born again when he is votes against medical help and life support for abortion survivors. You don't know my Jesus...not the one I know... I won't even address Hillary on this issue. All America knows Hillary doesn't know Jesus. I'm not calling you a liar, Hillary. You may think you know Him, you may have your own idea of who He is, you have even testified that you have "felt" the presence of the Holy Ghost, yet it is very obvious you have never surrendered your life to Him. We know – because we hear what is in your heart when you speak… You are liberal through and through, politically correct and graciously tolerant of the enemies of our country and our souls. You are pro-abortion, pro-gay, much too socialistic to be Christian, and far too power hungry to be "like minded" with Christ. Neither of you two pretenders can lead a nation with integrity and the ethics of a just leader. You are far too corrupt to know where to begin – let alone how to proceed… And so you begin with the lie that you are Christian – the greatest drawing card that you hope will give you acceptability and enough holiness to snap up the nomination and the election. Hillary, you can bow out now. America has had its fill with the Clinton scandals and the absence of absolutes that used to fuel the moral compass in this country. Bill Clinton destroyed two generations of young people with the serpentine lie, "There are no absolutes, there is no right or wrong, If it feels good, do it." And how did you respond to this philosophy, Hillary? You agreed – you still do – that’s why condoms are passed out in our public schools - and you think we want you as Commander-in-Chief of our children??? I know this is tough language, and I know I have ruffled your feathers, but if I didn't care I wouldn't have bothered. It so happens I love this country and I love the way it used to be - before liberal Democrats became obnoxious, arrogant and rebellious - before being President was more important than being honest. It has been truly declared: “All you really need to know about Barack Hussein Obama is this: Louis Farrakhan really, really, really wants him to be president.” —Don Feder And so does Osama Bin Laden, the Taliban, the terrorist groups Hamas, Hizballah and Fatah pressing into Israel’s front and back doors, turning the door knob to Israel and then on down the corridor to America… In spite of the hypocrisy and greed of today’s left-leaning politics, or perhaps because of it, the integrity of the prophetic Word of God, guarded and pronounced by His remnant, will be the sword that liberates the voice of truth. These harvesters shall, “cry aloud and spare not…they will show the people their transgression and the house of Jacob their sins…” (Isaiah 58:1). Change always supports a two-sided issue – sometimes the issues are old, revived from the shadows of the past. Sometimes the issues are new to men, yet not new at all, but resurrected from the ancient wisdoms and prophetic utterances of Divinity that had been forgotten – or forsaken... In the change that is discussed here, the world faces an old issue stepping up to a new level, no longer just reading about such things in the Holy Script, but meeting face to face with the ancient and determined enemies of our very souls, in every nation across the globe. Make no mistake. The new leadership in America, whether he will be a born-again conservative Christian or a traitor worse than Judas, will affect every nation on earth at a critical time. There is however, hope. We destroy the lie when we embrace the truth. When we reach out to the fallen, the backslidden, the sick, the hungry, the homeless and the persecuted we die to self at the foot of a cross. It is the same cross that we offer to the world where the martyrs are taken daily, the tortured die daily, refusing to renounce that precious Name while the mockers shout, “Crucify him, crucify him…” It is not too late. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama can still know the love of Christ - if they will walk away from their pride, their arrogance, their denials and self-righteousness, and if they will repent before God, seeking the face of Jesus Christ the Jew, marred more than any man, for them, on an old rugged Cross. I invite them to do so today, as no doubt they have been invited many times by many others, but who knows when - and where - and how - that one invitation will turn the tide. It is in the compassion of Jesus and the unconditional love of Almighty God that we invite them again and again and again… God loves a broken and contrite heart. If you want to hear Satan scream, mention the blood of Jesus, and come before the Father with a broken and contrite heart...and bring the family with you… Joan Krempel
