"THE TRUTH IS..."

Building Tree Houses

There is an alarm laced with sure panic that is being sounded through the world's mainstream media, through the halls of every level of learning, through coveted seats of government and around the internet, that Christianity has somehow finally morphed into the dreaded plague that has for years threatened the secretive and varied conspiracies of the left-wing liberals, the UN, the world bankers, The Vatican, the Club of Rome and the dictators of a dozen or more countries.

They say the Christians are too powerful, that we have too much influence over the governing affairs of this world. They are saying we have to be silenced…

It is a laugh - too good a laugh not to laugh...for I honestly haven't laughed this much since VJ Day in August 1945. I was thirteen years old and that was the day the world stopped holding its breath and let out a slow collective sigh of thanksgiving. The guns of WW11 had stopped at last and there was a light and airy canopy of peace that hung over the world ever so sweetly. I was on top of a mountain in Virginia, attending a summer church camp, when the news came by runner from the camp that the war was over. First we shouted and danced as Miriam did after the crossing of the Red Sea. Then we prayed and thanked the Father for comforting those we loved – both those in heaven and those in the earth…

I laugh because their panic has exposed them. They no longer labor to hide behind interest groups they secretly support, today they are blatantly open and vocal in their plot against the Christians – a sure sign they are in a state of panic. Their programs, their schemes, their designs against us are being challenged daily and they are frustrated…

Yes – I can see how Christianity could be called a dreaded plague by those that oppose it. To Satan and all his cohorts, we are the enemy that Jesus redeemed when He crushed Satan’s authority at the Cross. We are the enemy that was turned loose on a sin-battered world to proclaim liberty to the captives and sight to the blind. We are the enemy that blows Satan’s fortresses apart with our testimony and we are the enemy that holds back the advances of the antichrist in his quest to take over the world.

The day will come when the antichrist will take over - temporarily, for seven years - but he can’t assume power until the Rapture takes place and we are removed from this world. In the meantime we will be the restrainer that holds him back.

This is one reason Satan is roaring like a lion today and this is why Satan’s helpers are saying we have too much power and have to be stopped. He also roars louder than usual because he knows his time is short and getting shorter. Too many sinners are slipping through his fingers in these last-days soul harvestings.

Contrary to popular belief, this world is not divided by the classes. It is not even divided by cultures or geographies. It is divided with ideas, opposing values, a taffy pull between good and evil, right and wrong, life and death, the Son of God and the son of perdition.

This world is in a spiritual battle, it always has been, since the day Adam and Eve trusted the serpent in the Garden above the command of God. That one act of disobedience was no small thing. It unleashed on this earth a spiritual war for control of the earth, the humanity Adam and Eve would produce and the Seed that was to come. If Satan could destroy the Seed line he could prevent the birth of the Seed, the one that would crush his head (authority). This was the real reason Cain slew Abel – carrier of the righteous Seed – whom God replaced with the birth of Seth.

This war cannot be fought in the natural realm of this earth effectively until it is fought in the spiritual realm. It cannot be won or lost in this world until it has been won or lost in the spirit realm. This means, Christians and Christian warriors pray and do battle against the demonic forces of hell without ceasing until the battle is over, something the secular world and the non-believers cannot know or understand.

But let me say this to them - if we did not fight, if we did not restrain, if we did not pray for the lost and the oppressed, we would all be dead and in hell or we would all be enslaved by wicked and barbaric men. Think of the bunch Noah had to leave behind to drown in their unbelief...think of the bunch Lot left behind in Sodom when he escaped with his family, just before God’s nuclear arsenal fell on the city.

It will happen again – when the Rapture takes place, as we are going up, the judgments will be coming down on a people that said “No” to God. We grieve for them, we plead with them, we pray earnestly for them, but in the final run, they must choose for themselves…

Every unbeliever, every pagan, every blaspheming atheist in this country owes a debt of thanks to the Christians in this country for the prayers that have risen to the throne of heaven on their behalf. They may not believe, but they live in a nation of a people who do believe, and their attack against the people of God is an attack against God Himself. They may prevail for a little while, but when they finally do see the truth, when they have taken their last breath, they will have no alternative but to believe. Unfortunately, by then it will be too late for them. And that is what makes Jesus weep, and the intercessors that weep with him…

If you reject the six-day creation of the worlds and the gift of redemption that is found only in the Grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, you have made your home with the serpent. He owns you. He can use you any way he wants to. You won’t even know you are being used.

Christianity is not a silk sheet. It is not a pie in the sky. It is not a rose garden. It is not an escape hatch for the fearful. Neither are we a bunch of muscle-flexing Sunday kids that are looking for someone to pick a fight with. It is true we can be intolerant of those that spit on our Christian rights. It is true we can be judgmental of those that flagrantly stomp on our family values. It is true we can be hypocritical when we do not practice what we preach. And for that we deserve your correction, but not your venomous attacks against us.

All organizations have their hypocrites, the United States Congress boasts more than a few, so do not think the Christians are the only fish prepared for the frying pan (trials and persecutions). Jesus warned that all hypocrites would fall from the pan into the fire…

The world has an abundance of clubs and organizations that one could say are comprised of "snooty" people. Yep- I said "snooty" - "snobbish" - "self-righteous control freaks." They are from well-to-do families, entrepreneurs, brilliant minds of the world, and leaders of extraordinary influence.

They meet in beautiful buildings wearing their $1,000 suits and enter into secret talks about their plans to drain a little more life and happiness out of the middle class. They don't care about the poor - the poor will do as they are told. The rich are already on their side but the middle class will fight them and these are they that have to be crushed. The Christians of all financial levels will fight them and these especially have to be crushed…

While the enemies of God meet in their palatial hideaways, the Christians meet in tree houses. There are no servants and there is no conspiracy to destroy the middle class. There is a plan however to bring into the tree house as many as want to come, as many as are invited by the Father, regardless of their fortunes or misfortunes, remembering the thief on the Cross that was crucified with Christ and Lazarus the beggar who was comforted in Abraham’s bosom.

"Oh," you say, "That’s not true. You meet in all kinds of churches, some beautiful and some plain! Everyone knows that..."

"Yes! Christians of every doctrine and denomination meet in churches or empty buildings, even homes. But inside every true church is a tree house. Come and see..."

In the 15th chapter of the Gospel of John, Jesus tells us He is the true vine and we are the branches. God is the husbandman of the vineyard. Every branch that is unfruitful is cut away and burned. Every branch that produces fruit is pruned that it may produce more fruit. We, the branches of the vine, are to abide in the true vine that we may receive nourishment from the vine. Therefore, we lift and gather our well-pruned branches (the saints) and build tree houses supported and nourished by the Vine, and there we abide in the secret place, the very presence of Christ.

We also build tree houses in the olive tree that is Israel and there among the oil-soaked branches of the anointed root, the Messianic Jews worship Jesus their Messiah. Our tree houses are not palatial like the ornate cathedrals of this world, but they are strong and lifted up for the habitation of the Lord of Hosts, while the humble are blessed by the winds and the compass of the Holy Spirit.

Christianity may be looked upon as a type of club but do not expect to receive an invitation to become one of us. You may receive an invitation to visit, but you will never hear one of us say, "Come, be one of us..." We will never insist you live in the vineyard or worship in the tree house. We will never push you up an olive tree. Whatever invitation you receive will be from the Holy Ghost who will draw you to the Father who will show you the Cross of His Son. But you will never get an invitation from a Christian to join our club.

You see, our club is unique in that it is a household and every family member is born into it, not inducted. Our Father will not accept everyone we drag home for dinner.  Many are called, but few are chosen. He will not turn anyone away who sincerely seeks to be born again, but neither will He allow the proud, the liar, the thief, the morally decadent or the blasphemer a place at His table.

When and if you get a special invitation from the Father - through the conviction of your ways and the breaking of your heart by the Holy Ghost - you will know you have been chosen by the Creator of heaven and earth to join His prestigious family. Otherwise, if you have already made your decision to live without it, He will accept your decision. He will love you but He will not interfere with your free will to choose your own way.

Some might say – “but one can’t live in a tree house – it is for fun and visiting. And tree houses are for kids – “

Well, let’s examine it. True, one does not physically, realistically live in a tree house made of boards and nails. Those boards have been cut and measured and those nails are artificial fasteners that can rust and fall out. The tree houses made of the branches (saints) of the vine that is Christ, are not cut and measured to fit the space in the vine for there is always ample space and no artificial fasteners are needed. The branches are simply gathered, lifted and twined by Christ to form a canopy of His love over the saints. As for the theory that tree houses are for kids, didn’t Jesus say, “Except you become as little children, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Little children depend on their parents – by faith - for everything. God wants His children to depend on Him – by faith - for everything.

No wonder the liberals and the leftists are in a state of panic – legislating “hate-crimes” laws etc. to legally stop us from stopping them. They don’t realize that we are so emboldened by the prophetic words of promise we don’t have sense enough to be afraid of them.  We are more afraid NOT to fight them than we are to engage their stupidity. I call their antics “stupidity” because they are so shallow, so tasteless, so weak and so without real character, who in their right mind would want to be numbered among them? Their root is without honor, their branches are without oil, and their leaves will never heal the nation…

As Ove Martin Nodland of Norway said, “God scattered us from the Tower of Babel, set up barriers of borders and languages to stop us from being a global community and now, these last-days one-world-globalists seek to defy God and rebuild the tower of Babel.”

We have to restrain them as long as we have the breath and the strength to do so. Then, once we are out of here, judgments will fall on those left behind…

And Kathleen Flanagan said: “As we read (and hear) about this newest plan to divide Jerusalem, I am reminded that God has very different plans (Zechariah 1).  He has, and does, measure out that ancient city. The boundary lines are established, and His purposes for Jerusalem could not be clearer. The nations have been warned, and today my heart aches to know the rude awakening that comes as surely as do the horses to those that are at ease.”

And then we read today that the maintenance architect of our nation’s capital has banned all references to God in the authentic flag certificates when flags that have flown over the capital are purchased by constituents. We read as well that a delegation of Republicans have approached the Democrat Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, and have pleaded with her to use her authority to override and reverse this ban and restore our Godly traditions, and she has refused. It is another reference to God they are boldly, blatantly removing from the time-honored fabric of our Christian heritage.

As I said to a friend last evening, “Benjamin Netanyahu was right. It is 1938 and another Hitler has arisen. Netanyahu was referring to Ahmadinejad of Iran. I am referring to the liberal antichrists who know not God – nor the Christ that loved them from the Cross and loves them still. These that refuse Him His rightful glory in this nation, these are the Adolph Hitlers of today, and as they strip our nation of all that is holy and good, they will collect and burn our Bibles as well. Start looking for a place to hide one, or at least whatever pages you can hide, and store to memory all you can. When the Marshall Plan is enforced, be prepared…

I do believe the true Church, the born-again Spirit-filled Christians of all denominations, will be out of here before this happens. I believe it will come to pass after the tribulation begins, and the “Christians” of that period will be the new converts of the tribulation that will face the persecutions of prison and execution.

Let’s expand the tree houses and invite people to visit – and let’s pray the tree houses will get so full they will burst out all over…
